There are many (auto)biographies about me on the internet, most notably at my other sites. You will likely get more details from those places. Here, these are some random facts and interests about me that you may or may not already know, or may or may not be interested in. Read at your own risk. I’m pretty darn weird, if I’m to be completely honest with you and myself. Hehe.

  1. I have weird food issues: I don’t generally eat anything red (except for certain foods).
  2. I am very low key when it comes to style: I wear what’s comfortable and could give a damn whether or not I match.
  3. I was a whopping 99 pounds for the longest time (approximately 10 years) until I got pregnant at the end of October, 2007.
  4. The only people I generally don’t get along with are Type A personalities. They annoy me.
  5. I’m a very honest person, but have learned to bite my tongue unless asked for my opinion.
  6. I don’t lie, and I never cheat.
  7. I don’t play relationship games, whether it be with friends or with my lover.
  8. I don’t belong to girly cliques and I don’t talk about people behind their backs. That’s grade school crap.
  9. However, I do have (probably unrealistic) fantasies about having a best girl-friend for life.
  10. I get attached to people pretty easily.
  11. I have trouble letting go of people, but have become better now: let bygones be bygones.
  12. I fit the INFJ type to a tee.
  13. My motto is: work first, play later. I like the reward of free time and being unburdened.
  14. I am addicted to water.
  15. I can’t remember any of my priorities before Bean came into our lives.
  16. I adore children — all of ‘em, even the bratty, spoiled ones. Hehe.
  17. I have been in love with the same man since I was 18. Yeah, the head-over-heels, sappy-happy-ending type of love.
  18. I am fortunate enough to have him love me back and even more fortunate to marry him.
  19. What you see is what you get from me, literally. No strings attached.
  20. I have very high expectations of myself, and therefore of people who choose to associate with me. If you can’t take the heat, don’t bother.
  21. I value honesty and communication in all my relationships — work-related and personal.
  22. My hero is his holiness the Dalai Lama. I’ve been to two of his talks/seminars and I am a better person for listening to his peaceful lectures.
  23. I have Mommy issues.
  24. The greatest compliment ever came from Dave (you know, that head-over-heels dude I am in love with): “You’re the most moral person I know.”
  25. I make friends easily and rarely make enemies. Thank goodness.
  26. It’s been a long journey, but I am happy to say I finally believe in myself.
  27. I have what people would classify as “ridiculously huge” goals in my life. This includes saving the world.
  28. I would rather live humbly and happily than have all the money and clothes and possessions in the world.
  29. I don’t mind sharing what I have. I figure if I got it, why can’t others?
  30. It’s hard to piss me off these days.
  31. I love to laugh, and do it often: I’m quite a dork.
  32. I make fun of myself all the time. It’s quite comical and it makes the days go by faster.
  33. My tested IQ is 138.
  34. Dave’s tested IQ is 142.
  35. I was the nerd in school — I adore structured education.
  36. I easily adapt to any environment.
  37. I can be very adventurous: I don’t scare easily.
  38. I often depend on the kindness of strangers.
  39. I am very trusting.
  40. I listen to my gut often and frequently.
  41. I pick my toe nails when I’m anxious.
  42. Feet are weird.
  43. Writing is my forte, and I generally don’t like phones.
  44. I don’t feel like I need to keep up with the Jonses.
  45. I wore no make-up to my own wedding. Everyone was surprised, and my mother especially was dismayed.
  46. In fact, I never wear make-up, unless you count Burt’s Bees chapstick as make-up.
  47. I like leaving my hair long so I don’t have to do stuff to it.
  48. I’ve never dyed my hair.
  49. I will grow old with white hairs and all, and will be proud.
  50. I am proud to be a woman. A strong one, at that.
  51. I am a survivor of abuse, and that is a big reason why I am a protector of children now.
  52. What didn’t kill me made me ten times stronger.
  53. I firmly believe that big things come in small packages. Hee hee.
  54. I don’t fear my weight.
  55. I’ve been called every name in the book, and failed to take them all personally.
  56. My teeth are discolored and not “flaming white” because of some stuff my mom took when I was in utero. I’ve come to accept my flaws as beautiful.
  57. I have weird quirks: I don’t like anything marked with red, I don’t eat fruit-flavored candies/snacks (except orange), and I can’t stand when the bottom of a cup or dish is touching me. Those are just but a few.
  58. The only people who can truly make me cry are my parents and Dave.
  59. I am not afraid of confrontations.
  60. I hand picked my career: I LOVE being a therapist and I love helping needy families.
  61. I make up my own phrases and words, such as “floopy” and “bumping brains.”
  62. I get along better with older people than people my age. Most of the time, anyway.
  63. Dave is my best friend.
  64. I believe animals have souls.
  65. My perfect Friday evening is cuddling with a good book on the couch with a clean, clean house.
