Happy Halloween, everyone! Whether or not you’re dressed up or not, giving candy out or not, I hope you have a fantastic day. 
Happy birthday to Jenn in California too. Hope you have a kick-ass time at Universal Studios, and try not to scream too loud. You’d lose your voice!
Today is a special day. I’ll tell you more tonight, after I come home. 
Dave and I will eventually build our own home. Self-sustaining, beautiful, earth ship by the sea. Or something like that, anyway. We have several ideas in mind. Going through HousePlansandMore.com, I realize how many different types of houses we can build. The Log Cabin House Plans are awesome. I would love to have everything wooden in our home, no paint, no artificial materials over our heads and between our walls. Then again, the English Cottage House Plans are also beautiful, with their gorgeous English styles and the sentimental emotion that comes with them. The style is so regal, so elegant. However, the Small Ranch House Plans are also really tempting. An open field of flat valley with a lovely ranch house, one story, plopped down right in the middle, for our children to run free. It would be like living in the plains again. Heh. My parents have a ranch home right now, and I have to admit — every time I go for a visit, it feels like taking a break from the 21st century just being in that house. I can’t wait for us to build our own beautiful dream home.
Today will be a good day. There’s something about having a birthday that makes a day feel extra special. Hopefully today will be okay, and good. I don’t want any crises this week — at all. I just want a smooth week. So today, I am visualizing a smooth week where everyone gets along — from my clients to all my friends to all my family members. The world needs to be at peace for just one week. Please? That’s all I want for my birthday: peace.
Literally.
Ever since Dave and I got our new laptops, we’ve been obsessed with various materials and accessories that come with them. Because we have twin, matching laptops, everything we get are in sets of two. We’ve been talking about getting another pair of Laptop Batteries for both of our beauties because you can never be too safe and prepared when it comes to batteries. I would love to have an extra one. Although they are generally expensive, they are so worth it. I will probably buy ours at allbatts.com since they specialize in batteries and have the ones we’re looking for in regards to our laptops.
Well, today is the beginning of another work week. I usually don’t work on Mondays but I made an exception for today since a client needed to be seen at the beginning of the week. The house is still a mess because renovations are still taking place. The front and back yard are full of old bathroom crap — toilets and sinks and bathtubs oh my! It’s rather annoying, but I still do visualize everything being clean sooner or later. More later than we’d like — can’t be soon enough. However, I know that by the end of this week, most likely, everything will be completed, and we and Gran shall have our wonderful bathrooms all beautified up. We still need to paint for Gran, which won’t be a big deal.
I can’t wait to have everything complete. I’m probably going to spend a good portion of next weekend cleaning.
Someday, I will visit New York. Even if just for a short weekend trip. I want to see it. I know people who live there and LOVE it there. They know all about NY real estate and where to look for a home in the suburbs while working in busy New York. If I were single and younger, I’d probably think about using Prudential as my real estate agent (since they are so prolific with 60 offices all over the place) and find a lovely little studio apartment in the heart of the city. And just chill there for a year and see what happens. I know Ciana LOVES and adores New York, so maybe she’ll end up there someday too! Maybe someday I’ll visit her in her home in the Hamptons.
So yesterday was a busy yet floppy day. I feel like I didn’t get anything done, but it was still good. I will list what I’ve received from the universe yesterday, because when times feel floppy, we need to pick ourselves back up! I don’t like feeling guilty for not being productive. That’s the commercialistic, capitalistic lifestyle that I want to definitely avoid. Here we go!
1. Guild Wars time for 2 hours. Oh boy!
2. Seeing our niece, Katie.
3. Taking her to yoga.
4. Getting her Halloween costume and seeing her expression of gratitude and excitement.
5. Going to yoga.
6. Deciding finally on a honeymoon destination. WOO!
7. Spending cuddle time with Dave.
8. Trying new chinese food.
9. A happy marriage.
10. Bubble bath soap.
